Taylor obtained a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of British Columbia Okanagan (UBC) in 2011 with a focus on forensic psychology and obtained his Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University (TRU) in 2017.
While at UBC, Taylor volunteered with the student union and the John Howard Society’s restorative justice program. During law school, Taylor volunteered with UBC’s Law Student’s Legal Advice Program and co-captained the TRU “Lawggers” to the Western Canadian Law Rugby Championship. Taylor also secured a spot on TRU’s BC Court of Appeal mooting team where he gained valuable experience writing arguments on obscure points of law and appearing before BC Court of Appeal judges to orally present the arguments.
Following law school, and prior to joining our firm, Taylor completed his articles and worked as an associate with a litigation firm in West Vancouver representing construction contractors in both commercial and employment matters.
Taylor has experience representing employers in wrongful dismissal matters, and drafting employment agreements and company policies. Since joining Pulver Crawford Munroe, Taylor has expanded his practice into labour law.
